What to keep in a small conservatory?

So looks like I maybe moving, and the house has a small conservatory (3.35m x 2.95m).
I'm really not sure what I'm going to use the space for and don't want it to just end up a dumping ground.
The landlord said I could move the fridge freezer into there to free up some space in the kitchen, but my brother said it would be working overtime in the heat.
If I leave the fridge in the kitchen then it doesn't leave a lot of space for a dining table so it's not ideal, the dining table may have to go into the conservatory? Which is ok I suppose , but wouldn't leave space for much else.
The only other thing I was thinking was our computer desk and PC as there isn't really anywhere else is the house it would fit, but again would the heat in the summer make that a no go too?
I think I may also end up airing clothes in there as again not much space around rest of house for clothes airiers.
I've never had a conservatory before!

We don't keep anything electrical in ours as it's a living space for us. Easy chairs and a small dining table. Ours does have 1 solid wall plus dwarf wall around so feels more like a room than an afterthought, like some do.
It becomes a giant fly trap over the summer, so be prepared to hoover up fly corpses daily!!!
P.s. I wouldn't call that a small conservatory, with those measurements. How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.98% of current retirement "pot" (as at end April 2025)0 -
I use it as an utility room. I install my washing machine and use it as an airy area.0

Ours is most often a giant tumble drier making use of the heat, although I found it essential to use an electric dehumidifier otherwise it got very humid and smelly with dripping windows. With the dehumidifier that problem completely stopped and I can empty a tank every other day of water. Clothes dry really quick.
Do also have a compact corner sofa and underfloor heating so used as an extra living space during cooler months.0 -
Umpteen potted Geraniums and a few chairs was all we had in ours.0

The usability of conservatories varies a lot depending on construction and orientation. I wouldn't put anything of value in my south facing and very ramshackle, home-made, single glazed effort apart from laundry to dry. At my brother's old house they use theirs as a dining room and it was useable all year round (once they put a solid roof on it).
You may find it useful to live with it for a year to see how hot / cold it gets before deciding what to do with it.Proud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230
