by mistake topped up wrong gas card

Hi,

I made a bit of a mistake buying gas at a paypoint the other day. I added £35 credit to my old supppliers (OurPower) top-up card which has now cases trading .

When I put it in the meter, it was rejected as card error 34 and money where cleared from the card.

I emailed my current supplier(Bulb) to ask about recovery of the funds, and they say that nothing they can do.

Does anyone know if anything can be done about this?

Thanks,

Mar

Ofgem regulations mean that Utilita should payback any credit you had.

If they don't, ask for a chargeback if you used a credit or debit card.

So the money may well have gone to the Administrator if they went bust.
