Integrated fridge

My integrated fridge freezer has broken and I want to replace it with a integrated larder fridge and get an additional freezer elsewhere.
Obviously there are currently 2 cupboard doors that open separately. Will they both just attach to my new integrated fridge? Does it matter if I go for fixed or sliding hinges? Is one better than the other? The fridge freezer currently has fixed hinges.

All advice gratefully received!

Are they 50/50 split doors? You'll also need to retrofit a plinth half way up for the fridge to sit on.

If you want to change to sliding doors you'll need to find the original hinges that were supplied for the doors.

Advantage of sliding doors is less fuss in installation. Once the doors are hung on their own cabinet hinges and aligned you don't need to do much else. With fixed it's trickier to line up and get a good fit against the cabinet frame. Disadvantage of sliding is that if the freezer door gets stuck sometimes the plastic sliders they're on can get pulled out.

I am presuming the fridge will be a large one that is of a similar height to the FF?

In that case it will slot straight in and sit on the existing cupboard base.
If there is space left at the top then you can fit a useful shelf above, if there is not one there already.

The 2 doors can be fixed together with slim flat plates screwed on the back of them so they will open as one.

Get the model you want and deal with the door fixing as necessary, if you need hinges they are easy to get.
