Strange Nokia service behaviour.

I sent off a Nokia 770 internet tablet to be repaired to the freepost address that i found on the Nokia website.
I phoned yesterday to query the status but spoke to the most awkward person i have met in ages.
First she would not accept that the Nokia had not got an IMIE number when i explained it was an internet tablet and not a phone she said that i had therefore sent it to the wrong place and that there was no way of tracing it but they would probably realise what i had done wrong and return it to me.
I said i got the address from the website so do not accept this explanation, she refused to expand any further, let me speak to anyone else about it or let me know the name of a manager.
I e mailed Nokia yesterday to let them know how annoyed i was by their service but have had no reply yet but have just had the Nokia 770 returned to me repaired !
