Have ECP actually rejected your appeal or have they perhaps just sent you a letter asking for the driver's details?

Yes, as I state in the OP: I received a postal NtK which I appealed on the ECP website using the template elsewhere on this forum. I'm now at the PoPLA appeal stage.

ECP wrote to me a couple of weeks back rejecting my appeal with them, and stated that they were providing a PoPLA reference to use should I wish to take the affair up with PoPLA…!except ECP didn't actually include said reference in their letter.

I emailed ECP early last week asking for this reference, but I haven't had a response.

Complain to the BPA, and to your MP

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
  • PoPLA reference finally received today. No idea when the deadline for appeal submission is, but assuming 28 days from early to mid-July, I would get I need to get this submitted by the end of next week.

    Here's your link:

Are your initials XX? ...with a five character surname?

If so, you would be wise to change your username on Dropbox.
  • Thanks for setting up the link.

Does anyone have any thoughts on the draft?
