BT sport mobile on Apple TV

Hi all,
I have a BT sport mobile subscription, although it's only on mobile and cannot cast to TV, but I can still login to my laptop Win 10 app and watch sports.
Is BT sport app on Apple TV is the same as BT sport mobile app? BT website says mobile subscription customers can only watch on their mobiles but I can watch on my Win 10 laptop and tablet too so a bit confused. So can I use same login details to login to App TV (BT sport app) and watch? Thank you.
