Ive seen an ergonomic office chari on Amazon i love the look of, great reviews but i do suffer from a bad back, so ideally would like to try it first.
Is there any way of doing this? I've searched shops locally and none have the chair in, is there any way I can try the chair to see if it helps my back issue?

Do the manufacturer sell it directly with any kind of satisfaction guarantee?
Otherwise as with any online purchase you can ask to return it within 14 days for a full refund (assuming you're buying as a consumer) so long as it's in as-new condition and resellable (if not they can reduce the amount they refund accordingly). That may or may not be possible depending on how much assembly is required.0 -
I went to the doctors about a back condition and their chairs were specially designed, well they were not suited to me. As soon as i sat down it killed me.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

I bought an office chair via Amazon. Required _some_ assembly, but unfortunately assembly that cannot be reversed >and< the chair returned to "as new" condition. OP needs to use an alternative vendor if they need that sort of commitment, and be prepared to pay the appropriate price.0 -
I have a bad back. Before I retired I had a very expensive ergonomic chair at work. It was great.
At home we have a cheapo office chair, but I use it with something called a McKenzie Roll. I also use one in my armchair and in the car. They're also great.
If your back condition requires lumbar support here's an example: https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=mckenzie+roll&hvadid=80401819852093&hvbmt=bp&hvdev=c&hvqmt=p&!!!!!mh0a9-21&ref=pd_sl_1uii2t3ro_p

I'd go to Ikea and buy one there. You can sit in it first, and saves the faff of a return when you don't like the Amazon chair.0

Thanks all, bought a relativley cheap one from eBay that looked similar to a proper one a guy in work has, been using it for a week now, and its perfect!
£37 delivered too (will see how long it lasts, but first impressions are its great, even after a couple of long 8 hour stints in it)0
