Buying a car with a declared third-party interest
Hi all,
I am looking to understand better the 'third-party interest' when buying a used car. I've found a car trader who is advertising some cars on autotraders. The car I am interested in has a declared 'third-party interest'.
Should I do or consider anything particular if I want to buy this car? Is it an alert?
Thanks in advance

Probably dealers finance - you are generally ok if its a proper trader who will settle the finance once sold. I would want to research the trader before handing over cash though, how long they have been in business and if they have traded under previous names with lots of CCJ's against them.0

I've decided to run a check on my own and found as of today there's no more any third-party or other financial interest. Autotrader was updated to 17.07.
Good point with the dealer. I will try to find dealer's info.
Thanks
