Misplaced POPLA code letter

I managed to get a POPLA code for a PCN from UKPC, but I have misplaced the letter (and I therefore have no record of the POPLA code)... I have the original notice to keeper (sent 33 days after the PCN issue date) and a follow up "notification letter". I think the code is valid for the next 2 days at least. Should I attempt to contact UKPC to get my POPLA code? Or am I out of luck, and will this just be a case now of ignoring any subsequent letters and waiting to see if I get a LBC or similar?

Was there a windscreen ticket? yes or no.
Given you only have two days left Id suggest you do rather urgently ask them. But i bet theyll fail to see it in time...0 -
Yes it was a windscreen ticket (which I do currently have). Another problem is that I can't actually find any contact details for UKPC other than their business address (and the appeals website).0

Which is a fake PO box, this is their real den of iniquity:

I could give you old Rupert's address but it would be taken down from here.
Though you have left it very late to get it sorted now, and as nosferatu1001 has said I bet they won't bust a gut to tell you that anyway.
You could try this number 0333 220 1070 though we always advise against phoning scammers in your case I think you need to act quickly.0 -
UKPC are fraudsters, read this

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams so complain to your MP.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

Thanks for the number! Called it, chose the 'general enquiries option' and managed to be on hold for half an hour before being hung up on. Upon calling back, I got an automated message telling me that the opening hours are 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm :rotfl:. I'll try calling back later I suppose.
I am actually considering paying the reduced charge given how annoying this is to deal with (although I think the parking charge wasn't issued correctly anyway, and this is clearly very scammy).0 -

If you pay the reduced charge they may well chase you for the full amount. It's unnerving how often the discount doesn't apply for often bizarre and spurious reasons.
It happens so often it's been named the mythical discount on here.0 -
Ok, so quick update, I did manage to eventually get through to a human and receive my POPLA code, and the POPLA website does accept it. I was told by the person on the phone however that I had already gone over the period for contesting (the POPLA code was issued on the 20th of June, and it is currently the 24th of July, with an deadline to appeal of the 18th of July). Should I still go ahead and try the POPLA appeal?0

If the POPLA site accepts it then use it.0

Do you really want to fund the high living lifestyle of a nasty scammer whose company have been found out falsifying evidence on numerous occasions, and have left sensitive information/photos on line etc?
Have a read of this about the owner of the scummy firm you are dealing with:

Alright, I have read through the advice on the newbies thread and the advice appears to be to attach a PDF with a detailed arguement.
My vehicle was parked in an industrial park at night, there were signs which were barely visible, unlit, and partially obscured by vehicles on the wall of the industrial unit, and not at the entrace to the parking bays. As such I think it is best to go with the "insufficient signage" arguement. Is it sufficient to use the signage template linked in the newbies thread? Should I go take photos of the car park at night? Is there a different/newer template I should be using?0
