Parking fine - System not working

I have received a £60.00 parking ticket from the NCP parking. About a month ago I entered a car park and tried to pay by machine. The machine was not working and gave me an option to pay by phone. Quite literally I was taken a round in circles as the phone system would not allow me to register a new bank card and more recent car and I was unable to make a payment. After 10 minutes I telephoned the number and spoke with an operator she explained that she could not take payment and that she could not help me and advised me to carry on attempting to pay. During the telephone conversation I explained that I was concerned about receiving a ticket and she told me that she would make a record of my phone call. I never left my car and simply left to go to another carpark. The appeal has been unsuccessful what next?
