Partial roof repair and scaffolding - what should this cost?!

Put up scaffolding
Replace fascia board, soffit and guttering at front
Replace dry grey verge to two gable ends
Fit new lead to two breaches in the front and rear roof to make watertight
Repair hole to neighbours wall

No one on here would appear to know. Maybe try a different forum? I haven't had much luck on MSE with the "is this quote fair?" section either. If you ever do get a reply it's usually of the "it depends" variety.

I'd have thought about £1800 for scaffolding and about £1800 for the roofline works.

This is based on work we had done within the last 12 months by good contractors. We live in the north of England.

Depends on how high the scaffold needs to go. For a bungalow, scaffolding might be £1,000. For a two story semi, £2,000 wouldn't be excessive. If you are going three storeys or higher, the cost climbs sky high.

Regardless of the cost of scaffolding, whilst it is up, take the opportunity to do other essential work on the roof and exterior - Pointing brickwork if needed, painting of woodwork/render, etc.
