Transferring a fund

This is probably a really obvious question, but is it possible to transfer ownership of an investment fund? I know it can be done for individual shares by completing a form, but can't find anything on funds. Thanks in advance.

Yes you can do this, fund houses will usually have a different form for this. It is essentially what happens when people transfer between investment platforms in specie, as the provider holds the units as nominee. Transfers between individuals that involve ISAs can be transferred, but will always involve a sale and reinvestment of the proceeds.0
