British Gas switch with homecare
I switched to British Gas in April using the recommended deal which included one year free Home Care. I was already paying for homecare and I expected the payments to stop once the switch was completed which is what happened when I replaced my boiler last year which included the same offer. However this has not happened and I contacted British Gas who informed me that the deal above is not offered to those who already have homecare, plus the actual offer does not include a boiler service and has an excess charge of £99 per call out. I am not sure if I missed something in the fine print or if it is a case of false advertising.
