Reclaiming - irresponsible lending

Hello all,

I am actually asking this question for a friend as I am unsure of the answer myself. Hopefully I have listed the question in the right section.

In relation to reclaiming for irresponsible lending I understand there is a lot of activity around payday loans mainly. My question is though - is this process also open to reclaiming against other organisations like the big banks and credit card companies such as Barclays, HSBC etc.?

Any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated.

You can make a complaint about anything you want, to whoever you want.

Whether it will be taken seriously will depend on the nature of your complaint and the facts.

To break that down, you mean that there has been a fair bit of activity with payday loans but virtually no activity with mainstream lending.

Very limited success as the issues with the payday loans were not occurring with mainstream lenders.
