Hen's tooth

Does anyone know of any account which offers the following, or am I looking for the proverbial hen's tooth?

* Good rate of interest
* Easy access

And, probably more important for my particular circumstances:

* No minimum monthly deposit
* Not linked one bank account (ie: anyone can make a deposit into it).

Doesn't matter whether it's a current or savings account.

Thanks for reading.

    Literally all [adult] savings accounts now need a linked/nominated account from which deposits are made to the savings account, and into which withdrawals are made from the savings account.

    This is easily achieved by making a current account, in the name of the savings account holder, the linked/nominated account. People other than the account holder can make deposits into the current account - albeit, such deposits need to be by bank transfer or PAYM or cheque. I believe cash deposits can only be made by the account holder.

    Some building societies still offer passbook accounts, which wouldn't need a linked account but are likely to have similar restrictions for deposits. And lots of drawbacks regarding management of the account.
