Alternative to Credit Club - Free Experian report?

Is there another free alternative to Credit Club? To view my Experian file for free?
I'm getting a bit annoyed at the problems with credit club now and would prefer something more stable.
Still no search dates on CC. Just one example.

I'm sure I have with Experian. I'll look at "check my file" thanks.

What about MoneySuperMarket Credit Monitor? Not sure which credit report it shows as I was unable to complete my registration. They obviously hold some wrong info about me and I couldn't pass the security questions despite my correct answers to every question. And of course, they can't tell me what info they have so I can't ask for correction. The same happened with TotallyMoney. I registered, but can't view anything since I failed security questions.
  • They use TransUnion. As do GiffGaff Money.

Credit club doesn't even load report for me now. It's just dying a death.

Experian have probably made some changes to their API's as per usual and not told anyone.

    It's happened before

I've just tried to register with Credit Club.

First it didn't save any of my details when I went away for a short time to check my income. I had to log in again and none of the info had been saved, so I had to put it all in again.

Then it got to page 3, the Experian bit, I entered the info about which banks I had an account with, and then I got a message saying I could not be logged in because I had not verified my email address.

Despite repeated requests, the verification email has never arrived. I have double checked I put my address in correctly, and the email isn't in my spam folder.

Then when I clicked on the "help/FAQ" link it went to a page not found.

I'm most unhappy about this, particularly as I have entered financial info.

    Can anybody help?

Request your statutory report directly from Experian. They are obliged to provide you with this information. The only downside is that you have to manually ask for it every month, but it is the exact same information that is provided by MSE Credit Club.

    @ beany-bot,

Have you tried deleting your Credit Club account and then re-registering?
I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.

    I love my job

Thanks I'll try that, but if I can get the same result direct from Experian, I'm not sure what the point of the Credit Club is?

Is the Experian one also a soft search?
