Hi, I was just quoted £450 for the following electrical work. Knowing nothing about electrician rates, can anyone give me a bit of a sense check.
2 sockets refit flush to wall, add one new internal socket again flush to wall, add external double socket, run armoured cable (4mm) to the current shed (about 30 metres from the consumer unit) and install one rcd controlled double socket. This also includes all certifications with building control.
There is no flooring in the house at the moment, so only a few floorboards will need to be lifted. Also, I was assured this could be done in one day.
Sounds realistic?
