Goodness me. What a lot of questions.
In no particular order...
Why would they send you a copy of your Defence? You wrote it.
Put the Defendant's name on the top left box.
Yes, In the County Court Business Centre and Claim Number in the top right boxes.
I have already answered the rest.0 -
I note that it states on the N149A form that it is a defended claim but they have crossed out a "copy of the defence i enclosed"
This is YOUR copy DQ. The crossed out bit is for a Claimants' copy of the same form.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hello All
I have just received a letter from Civil Enforcement
They have said they will not pursue this further!!
Great news and goes to show that perseverance can pay off
Question now - do I need to do anything further?0 -
Don't take their word for it , check with the court
If they agree , then well done
Another one bites the dust !!0 -

Did you have a court date at your local court? Ring them to check it's listed as vacated and discontinued. If so, well done - YOU WON!
