Lots of companies on the net offering fixed price repairs for GHD hair straighteners
Any recommendations, or companies to avoid
Many Thanks in anticipation

What needs repairing? If its the lead, then it costs about £7 to buy a new one off ebay, and takes 5 minutes to fit. Very simple, no skill needed0

It was a few years ago now but I used one of the fixed price ones on eBay.
I just looked for one that included any fault in the price, PAT tested before return and with plenty of good feedback for the same job.
I posted it off in a Jiffy bag and it came back repaired a couple of days later. It's been fine for the last few years. I think it was about £15 at the time.0 -
Used GHD-repairs.co.uk by Rushden electronics back in 2017. Excellent service, cost about £25 then. Still Working fine.Jan Grocery challenge

I bought a replacement power connector and repaired my sister's set a couple of years ago. I think it cost about £6 for the part, and took 10 minutes to fit.0
