Put in for a transfer if your not happy. No point in staying in a place where you do not like going home because of parking, but this is not a new problem.

If the tenancy agreement says that there is no allocated parking then you have rented a house with no allocated parking. If you want allocated parking you will have to move to a house that has it.
  • Hi

I don't think I've made myself clear. My tenancy says no allocated parking. HA say there are bays that you have to use. I am disputing one of the bays as the bays are put at the front of my property and causing issues. All the other properties have tarmacked areas too which are reffered to as their gardens. Each property has a path leading down to the road whereas my property is the only one without any of this causing me to trespass on other properties, divert around cars to get to the road. When I moved in, I had a 1 year old so it wasn't easy to navigate a pushchair or even get her out of the car. I would be wedged between the van and another car and didn't have enough space to even open car door. I had to then park on road, get daughter out and then park back in and squeeze out.

Personally I don't care about allocated parking as I don't see the need for it when these are perfectly good properties with enough space in front of each house for 2 cars.

I'm trying to get the HA to put a central boundary in place rather than make it complicated.

I'll put some links in of pics to help clear the matter.
