Lloyds now offers more "freeze" options for credit cards

You can now use your app to do all of the following:

- Freeze card: Stops all card based transactions
- Freeze abroad: Stops all point of sale transactions and ATM withdrawals outside of the UK
- Freeze online and remote: Stops all transactions where the card is not physically present
- Freeze at tills and terminals: Stops transactions where the card is present
- Freeze ATM withdrawals: Stops withdrawals at ATMs

Very interesting but a shame that Lloyds have not bothered to inform their customers and not a single mention any on internet banking.0

It's always a good idea to get it working first, wait a while to see if anyone finds and uses it. See if there are any issues - maybe get their own staff to test it.
If no issues arise then slowly send emails to a few many people at a time. Still no problems - the rollout is successful.0 -
It's good to see this has been extended to credit cards and with some useful detail in what you can choose to freeze. I've filled in their feedback questionnaire as well and it gives you an opportunity to tell them what other specific transactions you might want to block in the future.0
