eBay click and collect

I sold something on eBay but the buyers address refers to an Argos store. I realise now I’ve allowed the buyer this click and collect option.

Do I literally just chose any means of postage, as long as I carefully copy the full address with the Argos reference codes it in?

Can I hand deliver the parcel to the Argos store? It’s actually not that far from where I live!!

If you want any form of seller protection then you will need to provide a POD (proof of delivery).

Yes send it like you do to any other address, just make sure the code is there. I usually write the code on the back as well, plus a return address because if this code isnt clear then they wont be able to put it into their system, and the buyer wont be notified to collect.

As for hand delivering it, you could give it a try, tho I suspect you'll have to explain it at length to the person in store !! It might confuse their process for booking the parcels in.

Agree with above. While I am sure it would not upset the system if you hand delivered it. Trying to explain to Argos staff might end in confusion and them doing the wrong thing with it.
