CPSATA. co .uk Has anyone heard of this company

Hi everyone

I have seen a parking charge notice that advises that the parking provider is part of an approved trade association. No mention is made of the trade association name but the website cpsata. co .uk is given should the driver need any further info.

Does anyone on this board have any idea what cpsata means?

The site now redirects to theipc.info but whois info shows that it is clearly not owned by the ipc. Waybackmachine shows that the redirect is a recent change.

Any ideas what could be going on here?

Never heard of them. Show us the PCN, front & back!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Unfortunately, as a new user, I cannot post links.

Try this, please. Bottom of section 4.

Weird how the website redirects to the IPC, but the point is this is a PCN from Combined Parking Solutions, an IPC firm who use signage terms that make an offer of parking at £100.

Their owner Perky fancies he's some sort of legal eagle, LOL.

They like court, and the only 'out' might be unlit or broken signs in their cases, because they will cover all the other bases.

    Which location?

  • Hi. I'm not looking for an out with this. Just trying to work out what is going on.
None of the signs mention the IPC or BPA. Could this have been issued when they were between trade associations? Does that make any difference to anything?

Well they are still listed in the IPC AOS and were not between ATAs, so it is odd if the sign carried no IPC logo.

Quite simply - they are no good at IT.

Could this have been issued when they were between trade associations?
Difficult to answer that as you haven't told us when it was issued, but they have been members of the IPC's AOS since November 2014.
  • Well, it looks like they were definitely a member of the IPC when the ticket was issued.

If the IPC logo does not appear on the signs or ticket does that mean there is no implied term that they would abide by the ipc code of conduct?

You can ascertain that by reading the IPC's Code of Practice.
