If no keeper liability is being used, then paragraph three needs amending as it implies the defendant accompanied the mechanic, whereas it was actually the driver who did this.
In addition, you need to amend your initial post and post four to remove information about who did what. Only ever refer to The Driver and the Keeper, who are of course two different people.
Parking scammers read these fora and have been known to use posts from here against posters at the appeal stage and in court.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
A local authority would surely cancel this, see MC22,

so one would expect a scammer to do likewise. If they took this to court they might be given very shirt shrift. Add to their workload, complain to your MP as nine times out of ten these tickets are scams.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.
