DRO and CCJ

Options
Hi all.
I have a DRO and CCJ for the same thing. I had a DRO done and then a bank (which I will not say) had a CCJ made on the same day as my DRO was past. I was left with my 2 very young girls and therefore had to stop work for a couple of years. I had a car on finance and couldn't pay because of this situation. I spoke to the lender and the court and neither want to remove either DRO or CCJ. Where do I stand ?

    Hi,

You have a CCJ for one of the debts included in your debt relief order, you are most likley now stuck with the CCJ unfortunatly, however the good news is they cannot enforce the judgement as CCJ`s are extinguished in insolvency.

So it will remain on your file for the same amount of time (6 years) as your DRO, and both should drop off at the same time.

Have you completed your 12 month monotorium period yet ?
