So I have had two guy come and quote me for a backdoor.
One guy who will fit a door by Doorstop saying the core of the door can be either resin based or solid and the cost is pretty much the same. I won#t be having more than one small window at the most.
The other guy fits a Nxt Gen door by Distinction and said it has a solid timber outer frame and super dense hard foam core.
I then looked online and saw a video of a Solidor - that was essentially a timber door wrapped in a pvc skin.
So who makes a better door of the three and how does that compare to getting a hardwood door?

All seems a moot point, unless your windows are laminated, they can just take the sledge hammer to the nearest window (or even just a brick) smash it and climb in. Easiest way in is typically the patio doors round the back, as the glass will be toughened so it'll shatter into small cubes.0
