Please help, my mother and father in law having paid off their mortgage were paying and endowment policy but did not use or have not been paid any monies, are they entitled to any money?:money:

Has the endowment policy matured yet?

You are not giving us much to go on.

Mortgages are usually paid off when the policy matures and the money is used for that.

Life insurance will pay out, but the downside is that you need to die to get the money.

When was the mortgage repaid? 10 years ago, 20 years ago, longer?


If they had an endowment :


They would have plenty of documentation from the time the policy was taken out.


They would have received a statement each year of the term showing how the policy was progressing.


They would have had more documentation at the end of the term.
