Best way to send /sell used laptop?

I am thinking of listing my used laptop on Ebay. It is not working properly so not expecting around £25.
What would be the best way to send it if it sells? Royal Mail is too expensive.
The weight would be 3-5 kg.

Hermes will charge about £6.49, much better than RM £13.75.
You want to make sure it is under 5kg if possible or it goes up another bracket to approx £7.39
The above are less than £25 value and no signature on delivery prices - that's extra cost if you want them.
If not working properly then I strongly suggest using the spares/repairs category with no returns ticked and list what's not working in your description. You don't have to accept returns for spares/repairs (as it's 'broken') but listing something as working (but 'not fully working') does leave you a bit open to a return request.0 -

MyHermes is cheap but laptops are in the 'not for compensation' category:

So for a low value laptop it might be worth the gamble, but OP be aware that you have no claim against MyHermes.
It isn't just MyHermes either, many couriers have restrictions on laptops so check them out carefully.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks for that. I have an old Dell XPS laptop which has a few issues (likely mobo but screen needs replacing too). Never heard of this trust but will look to donate to them as it's really not worth the hassle of selling (even if I were to get £100, which is unlikely). :T0 -
You can send any single laptop to their Edinburgh address provided it is less than 6 years old and Windows 7 or above.
The min 5 is to arrange collection. You can also drop off at the Newbridge depot by arrangement.0
