    I agree with the comments here, mainly I wouldn’t buy it.

    It’s bad enough having damp but needing a pump? Wow. And then to boot you have the running costs of this, which no doubt each year with the service there will be some repairs needed!

    And then there’s the amount you are paying. Just don’t do it, find another property without a pump!

    OP the fact that you are having doubts because of this means that other people will as well should you buy and sell.
