Recalling Emails

Hi
Last night I was sent an email, I opened it and read it. I started to reply to it but thought better as I was a little tipsy! Today, however, there is no trace of the email at all.
I really want to clarify to myself 'did the email arrive'. I don't actually need to see it, I just want to know I didn't imagine it.
Is there anyway I can tell for certain it did arrive?
Many thanks

The sender could have recalled it if you only viewed the preview. If you had opened it, recalling would fail as far as I know.I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.

Yes, that was my thoughts too. I did think you receive a notification saying the email was recalled, but I cant find any trace of that either. Perhaps I imagined it - so weird!0 -
wasnt a facebook message or text etc. rather than an email by any chance0

I must have been :rotfl:0 -
I've noticed weird bugs with both client- and server-side rule-based email filtering. Once or twice I've seen a message disappear into a folder that my email client doesn't subscribe to (so I have to log on via webmail to find it).0
