Add 2nd VPN Router

At present I have a VM Hub 3 router in Modem mode and a Lynksys router providing a wired network connection to a Synology Network Drive, a Philips Hue bridge, a Samsung Smart Gear bridge and a powerline plug to downstairs. I'd like to alter this setup slightly as I'd like to setup 2 networks, one with a VPN. What I'd like to do is use my VM Hub 3 as a router again and attach it to a un-managed network switch to accommodate my Smart Home bridges, my Network Drive and the powerline as there aren't enough ethernet ports on the Hub 3. I'd then like to attach an Asus RT-N66U router to the Hub 3 and use that as a VPN network to connect my tablet and other wifi devices to when I want to watch US netflix etc. Is this possible using the Hub 3 as Router 1 and then Asus N66U as the 2nd (VPN router).
