We aren’t selling a property but are waiting for a final offer on
A mortgage for buying a new build house. We’ve had our mortgage in principle and then the underwriter proceeded and asked us a few questions which we’ve replied to. Apparently now the valuation has been instructed so our agent should hear by the end of next week. Other than this, when can I expect an offer? When what’s been done? And then what are the stages?? I’ve got no clue. What do the solicitors arrange? I thought that was the valuation? Please explain

There are books on the topic of buying houses, you can't go wrong with this as a starting point

your paying your solicitor, so you can always ask them as well regarding the process"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"
