Facebook question.

Hi folks,

Not really a fan of Facebook but do they limit how many posts of other users you can see, until you have reached a certain threshold yourself such as number of friends etc?

No, they changed the way the system works and what's supposed to happen is you see more posts from people you interact with and less from those you don't. What happens in reality is an entirely different thing.

Facebook has a funny turn now & then when it will only show a few posts & urges you to make more friends if you want to see more. Ignore it & it will go away soon enough.

Seems to be what is happening with the account I opened.

Just out of curiosity can one see who has viewed their profile or make an informed guess by facebook's recommended friends list?

No.
anything that claims that you can or says that "x people have viewed your profile" are wrong. Only Facebook presumably has that data, its probably safe to assume they know how many times your profile has been looked at.

Only facebook will know who visited and how they got there. Search via your friends or via a name search. They know what clicks got them there and are unlikely to dilvulge that info.

Must be a nightmare with different laws that may apply to it.

Used to be able to view even private accounts because a couple of countries allowed that so simply log in from that location/IP range.

Always puzzled me why people put so much personal information out there and then later regret it whilst still posting more of the same type of content.
