Premier DS5080 Digital camera - no sound

Hello,

I have had the above camera for a year or two, and never bothered to do anything other than take photos. The other day I thought "why aren't I using it to take little video clips of the family!?", so I did, and it was surprisingly easy. But, when I play it back, there is no sound. So, that makes it pretty useless! Does anyone know anything about this particular camera, or just have a general idea about this sort of thing? Do I need to buy a seperate sound card or something?

    A lot of digital cameras (especially older ones) don't record sound. I have a Fuji one that doesn't. I'd be amazed if there was anyway of adding sound to it.

    Well, in that case, any suggestions on the best / cheapest buy out there, as long as I can make little video recordings (with sound!)?

    I would expect most of them would record sound nowadays. Just decide on a budget and then check out the reviews on https://www.dpreview.com and https://www.steves-digicams.com. Alternatively do you have a mobile phine with a camera? That may do video as well.
