PPI Deadline (29 August 2019)- What Legally has to be done/submitted by then? (eg a letter?)

The PPI deadline of 29 August 2019, is the last date your submission has to be submit by,

a) But what legally has to be submitted by then, so that you SECURE this date (and they cannot say you missed it)?

For example a letter? a claim form?

b) In other words, to get 'within' the deadline, what can be done/sent to the PPI credit company now until then, to make sure you have NOT missed this deadline?

(even if it is just an initial basic letter)

c) and if it is an initial basic letter, do you have a template of it/ resource template?

d) and lastly, if you send this to them, can they still say you have MISSED this deadline (by delaying/prolonging it with their reply, until after September 1st for example) - even though the initial letter would be sent in early August...

Please answer in a) b) c) and d) format, for simplicity,

thanks

Just go onto the financial institutions website and locate their PPI complaint section, follow their instructions.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.

Any complaint received before or on 29th August 2019 will be investigated. Any complaint received after that date will not. It really is as simple as that. There is no "legality", nor will the Banks attempt to "prolong" or delay their response.

In fact, I imagine the Banks will still accept certain complaints for a short time after the deadline, if the complainant has compelling reasons for missing said deadline.

Sorry, simply missed that part of your post. :)

Why are you leaving it so late anyhow? Why not simply complain today?
