Exchange US iTunes Vouchers

I recently completed a couple of surveys for some software I have been using. For this I received a $20 iTunes Voucher. Trouble is, because they were purchased in the US, I can't use them because I don't have a US iTunes account. I have asked if they could exchange them but, they can't purchase UK iTunes Codes, presumably because they are in the US.

I have looked this up and can't find a way to have these transferred to my £ iTunes account.

Is there an MSE out there who can help? It was ridiculously easy money so, it wouldn't create hardship to lose out but, it will certainly rankle a little.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
