Pickup at Heathrow Terminal 3 -How?

I have to collect someone from Heathrow Terminal 3
Do I have to book short stay parking at £7.50?
Or is ther a better option?
He'll have a fair bit of luggage, but only coming from luxembourg.
So I might have to wait half an hour or so
Is there somewhere he can EASILY find where I can collect him?

Park in the long stay car park. It's free for up to two hours.

Take the bus to the airport, meet him at the meeting point on arrival and then help him back to you car on the bus.

And you can track the plane from any distance away on your phone just in case it's excessively delayed.

Is only £4.20 for up to 30 minutes in the short stay car park. Very good value.

I wait in long stay till they have got their luggage, then collect them from short stay

The long stay car park no longer let's you out automatically if you are there for under two hours. You need to get you ticket validated at customer services near the exit
