Wedding Insurance Abroad

Hi there, I’m just wondering if anyone knows of or has experience of a wedding insurance policy that covers airline strikes? I’m guessing no it just doesn’t exist, but just on the off chance. Fearful of the threat of Ryanair striking. Thanks!

have you already booked the flights? Booked the wedding?
Got travel insurance?
There are some steps you could take to reduce the risk if you haven’t already booked like
Not flying with Ryanair
Having part of your holiday before the wedding so giving yourself a cushion to arrange alternate travel0 -
Wedding Booked
Have travel insurance
Have wedding insurance (doesn’t cover airline strikes)
No other airline is an option, the local airport just about exclusively Ryanair. Alternatives not available without extensive additional travel and cost involved for us and guests. 95% of guests booked to travel with Ryanair.
Please only respond if you have answer to question asked ie Is there any wedding insurance policy that covers airline strikes.0 -

Wedding insurers specifically exclude travel costs as they would be picked up by your travel insurance, which usually does include cover for strikes.
It perhaps doesn't help you now if already booked but as someone said above the few days leeway would help then if a flight is cancelled your travel insurance would pick up the cost of a replacement flight which would hopefully get you there in time, but I very much doubt you would find anyone able to do wedding insurance including strike cover.0
