Have applied for new UC claim, all funds have stopped and need to pay rent.

But it wont let me aply for advance payment because it says still reveiwing claim.

How long does it take to be able to apply? somebody may get evicted if it goes on too long?

At the ID appointment at the job centre a week after applying I was told I could request an advance - they also gave me a cut off date of when you need to make request by.

Have you verified your ID yet, if not have you made the appointment to do so (unless you were able to do it online)?
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.
  • My sister applied for hers at her ID appointment and the money was in the bank 2or 3 days later.
