TomTom Go and memory card

Can anyone advise what capacity memory card I can use in a GO6200

TomTom appear to be saying 8gb but I assume much larger capacities are ok

    It depends on the SD type support however my old go 720 takes 32gb SDHC even though states 4gb in the guide!

    8GB was probably the biggest they tested at the time. You are free to test on your own. Format the card whatever way the TomTom likes and stick it in. Either it'll work or it won't! It might not see the card at all, or it might tell you your 128GB card is only 8GB or something. Once you verify it works, get stuck in.
    If you need to buy a card, what do you intend to use it for? 16GB would be a pretty safe bet, and small outlay.

    I have an old dashcam that said 4GB memory card, worked just fine with a 16GB card and recently stuck a 64GB card into it and it still worked fine.

    Sometimes its trial and error, if it struggles partition the card, did that in the past with a windows laptop, split the HD into several partitions.
