If you get an email or get sent to freeads.co.uk Its not so free as it appears.
At least not for anyone responding
Every advertiser gets allocated a personal phone number starting 07013
You have to call this number in order to contact them.
What they don't indicate is that these personal numbers are costly
I asked BT and they told me that each call has a connection fee of 6p then its 24p a minute in the day, 16p evenings and 6p weekends
I think that by not indicating cost of calls its dishonest.
There are plenty of such sites that really are free
such as www.gumtree.com
www.vivastreet.co.uk
http://www.preloved.co.uk
http://www.loot.com/
Probably a few more
So please remember to avoid freeads.co.uk
Pass the word on

I use freeads.co all the time and very good it is,
you are wrong to say you HAVE to use the 070 number you can contact them by message,or they (the advertiser)can place their own mob or home number in the advert, all they have to do is space the numbers out sort of like this
0.7.8.9.5.3.2.3.1.1.
so dont be put offIMOJACAR

somehow they got my email address from gumtree
each of their emails asked if i wanted to renew my ads yet i have never advertised with them.
It became clear that every ad they were referring to was ones I placed in gumtree
Thats not only dishonest but underhanded
Sure you can message sellers but anyone really wanting something will phone first otherwise it could be gone before an email gets through
Theu give each seller a personal number and thats how they make their money
I think that they are sneaky to say the leastIWasLookingBackToSeeIfSheWasLookinBackToSeeIfIWasLookinBackAtHer.....0 -
