Boiler Advice

We were planning to replace our boiler in our kitchen, but the plumber has now said that it will not fit in our new design.
So it's going in the loft, and as there is more space, he is recommending a combi boiler, and getting rid of our emersion tank.
1. Any thoughts on combi's - never had one.
2. Choices are Worcester 36CDi Compact or Ideal LOGIC MAX C35, which one would be better? Prices not that much different.
Family of 4 with young children.
Thanks!

Combiboilers can be very good, but whether or not they will suit you depends on a range of factors. It might help if you can answer the following questions:
Do you and your family prefer to take baths or showers?
How many baths and showers do you have?
Do you have any electric showers?
Do you have radiators or underfloor heating? The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0 -
