Isolator switch quote

Heyup,

We need the electrics upgrading in our house and the electrician quoted £800, but wants an isolator switch fitted. Our current supplier put me in touch with foxglove energy who want £144 for this work. Western Power, the network operator want £206.
My crafty plan is to switch supplier to Eon as they fit isolators for about £65, and then switch back a few weeks later. Anyone tried this approach? Surely there must be a flaw in my plan!?
