HSBC Advance Account Cashback

Hi!
Got an e-mail from HSBC yesterday offering me 1% cashback on all debit card transactions on my HSBC Advance Account for 3 months. Would prefer for it to be permanent, but I'm not complaining. Anyone else got this?
I only opened the account a couple of months' ago for the switch incentive, and 5% regular saver. Otherwise it's unused with a minimum balance. Maybe they're trying to persuade me to use the account?
