Hi all,
Just after your thoughts on my ongoing ppi claim.
Long story short , I have gone down the self claim route with several lenders starting my correspondence in May 2019. One has written back saying yes I was miss sold PPI so, I filled out the relevant form on their website and waited. ........
They have today replied after reviewing my claim. They state that they wrote to me at a previous address in September 2013 inviting me to raise any concerns about PPI on my account. Apparently this letter explained that they may reject any complaint not made within 3 years from the 2013 letter.
I have no recollection of receiving any such letter from them .
So I guess what I am asking is do you think I can challenge this decision ??
To make matters more complicated in the same letter they have said that they got commission on my PPI (Plevin) and I will be receiving a cheque for this in the next 28 days .
Should I just accept the cheque and be happy with my lot ?
Thanks . Mark.

When did you move address? Before or after the letter was sent in 2013? If it was before, you can appeal it on those grounds and they should then investigate the missale complainthelpful tips
it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)0 -
Hi , I moved after the date they have said they sent the letter.0
