Boiler and radiators

Hi all!
Had a local plumber in today for a quote to replace my combi boiler (like for like), to fit a new magna clean as by 1 June 1 was required by regulation. Remove 6 radiators on the house and fit new ones(all of them needs new pipe work as the new radiators are not the same size. Already have the boiler and radiators with valves and everything needed for the job.
Been quoted by the plumber 2000£ just for labour only.
It just looks quite expensive.
South East London if this helps
Thanks

So you are basically having a new 6 rad heating system fitted which could easily be £4k or £5k, so if you are being charged £2k then that would leave £2k or £3k for materials did they cost you that ? I doubt it so you are getting a cheap/reasonable job done.
Ps don't forget to comply with boiler plusI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
The thing is that I'm not having a completely new central heating done. Just replace the radiators and the pipes which are going into the floorboard from the new radiators.
Materials it's round 2k. Still not sure what to do.0 -
