Crown breatheasy paint foul smell

We had our bedroom painted last month using Crown Breatheasy Paint (colour=English Fire). It was new, purchased from Homebase. There is a horrible smell now coming from the walls- not paint-like, just very unpleasant. Having now looked further into it I have discovered that there was a problem with Crown Breatheasy Paint back in 2010 and in fact they were featured on an episode of Watchdog. However I am not seeing anything more recent online in terms of complaint. Anyone else out there with bad experience of Crown paint?

I have had a similar issue with a customer but with a different brand of paint.
After testing it turns out it was bacteria that caused the smell, from the surface of previous paint. You'll need to remove it all, clean it properly and repaint.0
