Lcwra universal credit

Hi,
I had to move from ESA lcw to universal credit in June 2018, a few months later my condition got worse and I was told I would receive a uc50 form to fill in. This was not received untill February of this year. It was sent back on the 7th of March and I had a paper based assesment on the 21st of June. A descision has been made on the 10th July that awarded me lcwra but I am a bit confused as to why this hasn't been backdated to when I first told them of the changes? Please could somebody she'd some light on this thank you

    There is a Waiting period.
The LCW or LCWRA element will not be included in your Universal Credit award straight away. There is a three month waiting period which will begin when you provide evidence of having limited capability for work (in most cases).

What group of ESA were you in when you moved to UC?
Had you been claiming ESA since before April 2017, and had a continuous claim before moving to UC?
See the last few para's of:
    https://www.entitledto.co.uk/help/Universal_Credit_Work_Capability_Assessment
Are you due the additional elements of LCW from the date you first claimed UC?

I was in the lcw but didn't get the extra element as my claim started in May 2017, I had no breaks inbetween this and claiming universal credits. And i have been providing sick notes from tge start of my uc claim. I did ring the helpline today but was told I have been awarded lcwra from the day they made the descision. Sorry hope this makes sense
