Anybody knows if Caxton Builders is a real construction company or a ficticious one?

Ian Nelder Morgan is an “inspector” of this company in their website and I know he was far from being a good builder when he worked on my extension/loft conversion a few years ago.

Ian Nelder-Morgan and his father Graham Morgan stopped coming suddenly after having being paid 22000 pounds as well as many other creditors. When they left, my garden was full of rubble and plaster, managed to kill most the grass. They also left a full skip they never paid for and a scaffolding which for my surprise had not been paid for either.

They had not build anything apart from a skeleton of bricks side extension (which had to go down as well) and a half way loft conversion.

After they left (they were working somewhere else ina similar way I guess) I had builders and a Building Control Inspector define his building work as “dangerous” , “cutting corners”, “naive and reckless” . Having weakend my roof, destroying my garden and showing disregard for basic council regulation despite of having involved Building Control since the beginning.
No adivce was listened and I felt lied through and releatedly by Ian Nelder Morgan and his father.
I had to remortgage and max out my credit card just to make my loft secure. I found a decent builder who allowed me to pay him on day’s work basis so I managed to afford the repairs and work. Basically, almost two years of incredible stress thinking we could become homeless anytime.

Noone died and our roof did not collapse. However I and my wife felt ill after all this and still cannot believe we made it at the end.

I could not recover any money as Ian’s company liquidated or changed their name not sure. I feel they did not stop working as builders though.

I do not hate anyone, but would not wish anybody to go through my ordeal with a cowboy builder so please do not rely on social media or mybuilder.com for reviews.

You may end up giving away all your savings if not extra careful

I cannot find anything related with the company.
I hope nooone goes through my situation, just worried Ian Nelder Morgan and his father Graham Morgan were up to no good.
I feel like I and my wife had been scammed. We are foreigners and think we were taken advantage of not knowing the law.
Scam or simply running off with our money, we did not recuperate any money.
If Caxton Builders really exists I would not recommend it to anyone just in case.
If I only knew...
