How long to receive Premium Bond after last draw?

We left some Premium Bonds in the estate, filled in the form and ticked the box to leave them in for the next 12 draws.

The 12th and final draw was the 1st July but we haven't received the proceeds yet. I did call them a week ago and was told "soon" but still waiting.

Anyone know how long this usually takes?

When I've cashed in premium bonds the funds have always been in my bank account within 3-4 days.

Now I'm worried.

I checked the a/c number on the copy of the form I sent them. One of the digits is a 9 but the top loop bit looks slightly fainter than the rest and could, maybe, be interpreted as a 1...

I'm getting on the phone right now.

Ok panic over, I hope. They told me the a/c doesn't get closed until 12 months after the date of death which isn't until next week. And the a/c number is clear on their copy.
